Terms of Service

At New Heights Fitness we appreciate your support and want to continue to offer quality, safe and a variety of classes in Hinton, AB.  Please review the policies below as they help us to keep high standards and safety in mind at our studio.

Class Registration & Attendance:

  • Pre-registration is required for all classes you wish to attend. You may register up to one (1) hour to the class start time.

    • Many of our classes have limited space and waivers must be signed; therefore walk-in clients are not permitted.

  • All class participants must sign the online waiver prior to their class.

  • Please select your classes carefully and please do not register for classes that overlap each other as a proper cool down/warm up in class is needed to avoid injury.

  • Classes with three (3) or less clients registered two (2) hours prior to class time are subject to cancellation. Please register in advance to assist us with managing our convenient schedule and class sizes!

  • There are plenty of class options available so please view the schedule to select classes that you can complete in full.

    • Attendance in all classes are strictly monitored for safety & liability reasons.

    • To advance within our class level curriculum, attendance in a minimum of six (6) classes of your current level is required plus the recommendation of the instructor.

    • Once minimum attendance is reached, clients must undergo an assessment with their instructor (on the last day of class) to demonstrate their capability to advance to the next level.

    • Taking at least one class per week (if not more) will help you progress faster than taking classes infrequently.

  • Do not register for classes that are above your chosen specialty level. If this occurs, New Heights Fitness holds the rights to remove you from the inappropriate class. This will help avoid injury and keep classes safe for all students.

  • If you are a pole and/or aerial student with previous experience, who are visiting New Heights Fitness for the first-time please email us at newheightsfitness19@gmail.com for a consultation on the appropriate level placement.

    • Payment for an assessment will be discussed.

Reimbursement Policy:

  • Refunds will not be offered for ANY classes or passes.

  • It is the student’s responsibility to be aware of the chosen date of classes when purchasing and to book.

  • If you miss the first two (2) classes of your session then you may no longer be able to attend the session.

    • All youth classes (aerial hoop and aerial hammock) are progressive classes. This means you learn new moves based on the previous class and it is imperative that you show up to your registered classes. This prevents injury and allows the class to flow as it should.

    • This does not apply to adult classes.

  • If you were unable to attend multiple sessions of your session pass, you may not use those credits towards another class, as you have already taken a space in the original class that you registered for.

Late for Class:

  • Please be on time!

  • You will not be permitted to join the class if you are more than 10 minutes late once the scheduled session has started.

    • This is due to safety and prevention of injury for our warm-up, and in order to ensure minimal class/activity disruption to the other participants in the class.

Late/Cancel/No-Show Policy:

  • Pre-registration is required for all classes. You may register up to one (1) hour to the class start time.

  • New Heights Fitness reserves the right to cancel a class due to low registration, weather, instructor illness, or any other reason.

    •  If New Heights Fitness cancels a class and you have pre-registered and pre-paid for that class, we will assist in canceling the pass and reapplying it or set a makeup date for that class.

    • Exceptions to this policy may be made at the discretion of the owner only.

  • Please refer to the refund policy if you have questions regarding refunds.
